The Birria tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had. Crispy, crunchy, tender, cheesy, soft, add any word you need more the amount of texture and flavor these bad boys pack. The street tacos are dope. The assortment of hot sauce is delightful. If you don’t check this place out you must not like good food. Nom X 10.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gilberto's Taco Shop in Arlington, TX, and I have to say, I absolutely loved it! The 3 ground beef tacos plate with rice and beans was simply delicious, even with the hard shell tacos. The ground beef was cooked to perfection and had a mouth-watering flavor that left me wanting more. The rice and beans were also fantastic, with just the right amount of seasoning and texture. What really stood out to me, however, was the exceptional service I received from the staff. They were friendly, attentive, and made me feel like a valued customer throughout my visit. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very inviting, with a warm and welcoming ambiance that added to the overall experience. All in all, I would highly recommend Gilberto's Taco Shop to anyone looking for fantastic Mexican food and top-notch service in Arlington. I loved every aspect of my visit and would give it a well-deserved 5 stars!

Maria the young lady at the front counter is so nice and courteous made sure me and my wife food was correct and she also handled the kids that were running around jumping on the sits in the most polite way she's the example of great customer service. The food was the best thanks to the ladies that's in the back cooking up delicious meals. It's the best I've had sense I been back from California keep up the great work ladies.

One of the best places for mexican food I've had in a long time. TX has alot texmex which I don't mind. Growing up hours from the border in cailfornia, hard to find good mexican food. This place was amazing! Great food! Great service, nice family environment.

Great little taco shop in central Arlington! Delicious food, everything we had was so damn tasty. From the Birria tacos to the burritos or the loaded fries. All of it was delicious. The Consome was delicious and very well spiced without being spicy. The fresh salsa was also delicious. I enjoyed the hottest one personally but great flavor regardless. We also happened to catch the shop right after they took some marketing pictures and got an order of loaded fries for free. Which was above and beyond. I will absolutely be back and thank you so much for the service! Seriously one of the best spots in Arlington for food.

I love Gilberto’s we go a couple times a month and we’re so excited they built a second location. Today I decided to get the chicken tacos and regretted not getting my usual order. They were a bit dry and had lots of small crunchy pieces in both mine and my Child’s taco plate. Definitely next time going to stick with our usual Pastor. Updating my review. Gilberto’s reached out below offering to remake the order. Although a nice gesture I’d still rather support their business in any way. We stopped by today and I ordered pastor tacos and a chicken taco. The chicken tacos have really improved on quality and we’re so good!

Got breakfast tacos around noon on a Saturday through the drive through. We got bacon and potato, and a bean, egg and potato. It was exceptional! Flour tortillas seemed homemade and everything was delicious and seemed fresh made. The woman taking our order was super friendly. We will definitely be back!
